Tuolumne Meadows

Lambert Dome from Highway 120

A whole four steps without having to worry about postholing??

Amazingly gorgeous rock slabs, almost snow-free. The moving lake of the Tuolumne River flowing in the distance.

The Tuolumne River crossings. Red line is the GPS track over the PCT. Blue is the actual path I took, marked by my inReach. Yellow is the potential method of circumventing the Tuolumne River crossings.

The most beautiful thing in this photo? The rock chair.

The side-bridge to Glen Aulin, which is WAY not on the Pacific Crest Trail.

Side view of the Crippled Glen Aulin bridge.
